      Softball Calendar


      Area 26 Special Olympics unified softball program will start March 31 at Eakin Park (near the
      Fairfax County Hospital). We need Special Olympics athletes and volunteers. If you are
      interested, please come out between 9 AM and 12 Noon or contact the softball coordinator,
      Paul Cole at or (703) 850-4541.

      Who: All skill levels from first time softball players to very experienced softball players

      Where: Eakin Park – Tobin Road in Fairfax From Inner Loop of Beltway: Take Gallows Road
      West. Turn left at traffic light onto Woodburn Road. Turn right onto Tobin Road to the park
      on the left. From Outer Loop of Beltway: Take Gallows Road exit and go straight across
      Gallows onto Woodburn Road. Turn right onto Tobin Road to the park on the left.

      When: We have the fields from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm every Saturday beginning March 31.
      Games are 1½ hours. Let’s play ball!

      Equipment: All equipment is provided.

      Wear: For practice, athletes should wear loose fitting tops and bottoms.
